I was born in Caracas Venezuela, I am a ham radio operator since 1995 (Certificate: 43359, POER: 5283, RAIV: 3095, DMR ID: 7340163). I am a psychologist and PhD in Psychology, I am specialized in quantitative analysis.  Currently, I am a university professor at my alma mater UCAB and UNIMET. I am also a long time data scientist and work in statistical data analysis and modeling.  My work website is www.estadistik.com.

At the moment my station is composed of the following equipment: Yaesu-FT-450D (HF and 6m), FT-8800R (VHF and UHF), RT52 (Portable DMR Dual Band), Kydera-360 (Portable DMR VHF), Abbree AR-F8 (6 bands Portable), UVS9, GAS5 (Dual Band) and Cobra 29LX CB. One whisker dipole antenna for 40m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, 10m and 6m, One G6 antenna for VHF (2m) and the Yaesu SCU-17 interface unit.

The digital modes have been an interesting discovery and an experience in which I have learned a lot about amateur radio. Although there are many interesting digital modes to experiment with, I have been more involved with the FT8 and FT4 modes.  The software I have used most frequently in my digital experience are mainly JTDX, WSJTX, GridTracker and AdifMaster.
