YLRL Anniversary Party ---------------------- SPONSOR: This is another popular YLRL sponsored contest open only to licensed women operators around the world. DATE: CW: Second week in October SSB: Fourth week in October. TIME: Wednesday 14.00z - Friday 02.00z CLASSES: Single operator only. EXCHANGE: QSO number, RST, and QTH; US state, VE province, or DX country. FREQUENCIES: CW - 3555, 7055, 14055, 21135, 282195 SSB - 3955, 7255, 14265, 21395, 28395 (plus or minus 15 kHz.) Look in DX portions of band on 40 and 80 maters. SCORING: One point per QSO between stations within the US and Canada (including Alaska and Hawaii). Two points for contacts with stations in other areas. DX YLs score 2 points for QSOs with the US and Canada and with other continents, but 1 point with stations in own continent. FINAL SCORE: Multiply total QSO points from all bands by the sum of states, provinces, and DX countries worked. There is a low-power bonus multiplier of 1.5 for stations using 100 watts or less on CW and 200 watts PEP of SSB. For each dulpicate contact removed from the log there is a penalty of 3 additional and equal contacts removed from the log. AWARDS: Certificates to winning scores in each district, province and DX country, and first-, second-, and third-place overall winners. There are cups and plaques for YLRL members in North America and DX countries. LOGS: Include a summary sheet with the entry showing the scoring and other essential information.
