RULES of WORLD WIDE LOCATOR (WWL) Contest 2000 1. Contest:     WWL DX Contest 2. Date:        2nd full weekend in MARCH                 11/12th MAR 2000 3. Mode:        CW, SSB, MIX 4. Time:        0000-2400 UTC 5. Bands:       1.8 - 28 MHz 6. Categories:         A - single op (CW, SSB, MIX, High Power, Low Power)                 1. All band                 2. Single band                 3. Duo band (any two bands)         Maximum 36 hours of operation .         No packet for single op any category.         Low power is output max 100 watts.         B - multi ops (CW, SSB or MIX)                         1. Single TX - one signal anytime, 10 minute rule (per band and mode).                 2. Two tx - two signals anytime, but on various bands, 10 minute rule.                 3. Multi multi, one signal on each band.                 Packet allowed for all multi ops categories.         C - SWL single op, no packet allowed. 7. Exchange:    RS (T) + WWL (4 characters, for e.g. JN79) 8. Points:      depends on computed distance between centers of locators                 each 500 km = 1 point                 on 3,5 MHz x 2                 on 1.8 MHz x 4 9. Multipliers:  First two characters  of WWL - World Field                 on each band separately (regardless mode) 10. Result:     sum of points  x                  sum of multipliers 11.
