EA RTTY CONTEST 2000 RULES Sponsored by UNION DE RADIOAFICIONADOS ESPAÑOLES (U.R.E.). Date: 16:00 Z Sat. to 16:00 Z Sun., April 1 - 2, 2000. Mode: RTTY (Baudot). Bands: 10, 15, 20, 40 and 80 meters, according to IARU bands plan. Classes:        a) single operator all band.                 b) Single operator single band.                 c) Multi operator all band only.                 d) SWLs Call:  CQ EA TEST Message: RST and CQ Zone.  Only EA Stations send RST and PREFIJO PROVINCIAL. Points: on 10, 15 and 20 meters bands, ONE for contacts within own continent, TWO for contacts  outside own continent. On 40 and 80 meters bands, THREE for contacts within own continent,  SIX for contact outside own continent. Contacts  between stations in the same DXCC Entity are valid for multiplier credit but have ZERO point value. Contacts between stations world-wide are valid. It is not necessary to contact EA stations. Multipliers: DXCC Entities and Spanish Provinces (Prefijo Provincial) on each band. NOTE: The first QSO with an EA, EA6, EA8 and EA9 station, on each band, count for 2 multipliers (DXCC Entity + Province). The Spanish PREFIJOS PROVINCIALES (Province initial) are as follows: A, AB, AL, AV, B, BA, BI, BU, C, CA, CC, CE, CO, CR, CS, CU, GC, GI, GR, GU, H, HU, IB, J, L, LE, LO, LU, M, MA, ML, MU, NA, O, OU, P,  PO, S, SA, SE, SG, SO, SS, T, TE, TF, TO, V, VA, VI, Z, ZA. Final Score:  Total points in all bands x total multipliers in all bands. Trophies: Plaque to winner  in Class A); Certificate all four Classes 1st thru 3rd place Logs: The log to contain BAND, DATA/TIME (UTC), CALLSIGN, RST/CQ-ZONE SENT AND RECEIVED, MULTIS AND POINTS CLAIMED. Use separate log sheet for each band. Include a summary sheet showing the scoring and other essential information. Official log forms are recommended. Logs on a floppy disk are accepted, however, you must include a paper summary sheet.
