HIS MAJESTY THE KING OF SPAIN CONTEST 1999 - DX RULES - DATE: Second weekend of April of every year (April 08-09, 2000), from 1800 UTC Saturday to 1800 UTC Sunday. ORGANISATION: URE (Union de Radioaficionados Espa¤oles). CONTESTANTS: All licensed radio amateurs throughout the world are invited to participate. FREQUENCIES: 10-15-20-40-80 meters following the IARU Region 1 recommendations. SSB: 3600-3650, 3700-3800, 7045-7100, 14125-14300, 21151-21450, 28255-29200 kHz. CW: 3500-3560, 7000-7035, 14000-14060, 21000-21080, 21120-21149, 28000-28050 and 28150-28190 kHz. MODES: SSB and CW are separate contests and they require separate logs. CLASSES: Single operator, multioperator (one signal in the air) and SWL. EXCHANGE: RS(T) + serial number starting with 001. The Spanish stations will send RS(T) + province letters. POINTS: One point per QSO. The same station can be contacted once per band. Only Spanish stations are valid. MULTIPLIERS: Spanish Provinces in each band (maximum: 5 x 52 = 260). FINAL SCORE: Total QSO points by total number of multipliers. AWARDS: Trophy for the champion in each class. Certificate will be issued for all the contestants with 25 per cent of points of the champion in each class. LOG: Use a standard model with a summary sheet showing: name, callsign, address, points, multipliers in each band and total. Logs received without summary sheet will be considered as control. Logs have to be sent to: URE, Contest Manager, PO Box 220, 28080 Madrid, Spain, or by e-mail: ure@ure.es. Logs must be received by May 14, 2000. SWL: Each bilateral QSO heard, 1 point. Logs should show in columns: time (UTC), station heard, exchange, station worked, exchange, points and multiplier (the first time).
