-+- ANARTS WW RTTY/Digital Contest -+-     Sponsored by Australian National Amateur Radio Teleprinter Society                    Second full weekend in June 2000 CONTEST PERIOD: Sat 10th 0000Z  to Sun 11th 2400Z (48 hours) Maximum operating time allowed:              30 hours for Single operator entries and SWLs.              No restrictions on the duration of the rest periods.              Multi-op stations may operate the entire contest period.              A summary of operating times is required with each single              operator log. BANDS: 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10M. CLASSES: (A) Single Operator,one transmitter.          (B) Multi Operator, one transmitter.          (C) SWL. MODES: All digital modes permitted; RTTY AMTOR,PACTOR,FEC,Packet,etc.        No Satellite operations. EXCHANGE: RST, CQ Zone and Time (UTC). MULTIPLIERS: Each ARRL DXCC Country and each call district of VK (1-8),              JA, VE, and W count as separate countries on each band.              Each continent counts only ONCE as an additional multiplier.              Maximum of six. ***** Although not posted in the rules,it is recommended that stations        operating outside the call area indicated in their prefix, should        should sign  /call area. i.e. K5DJ/0. (Eddie). NOTES 1: VK (1-8),JA,VE and W MAINLAND do NOT count as multipliers.       2: Contact with one's own country or call area, counts for QSO points          but NOT as a multiplier. QSO POINTS: Use "Revised 1994 Exchange Points Table" to determine QSO points.              SCORING: Total QSO points x total multipliers x number of continents worked.          (max. 6) After the above calculations, World stations add,          100 points for each VK QSO on 14MHz          200 points for each VK QSO on 21MHz          300 points for each VK QSO on 28MHz          400 points for each VK QSO on 7MHz          500 points for each VK QSO on 3.5MHz NOTE:    Any contact with the memorial station VK2SG earns double          the table points for that QSO. i.e. Zone 3 to 30 = 70          AWARDS: Plaques will be awarded to first in the world in each class.         Certificates will be issued for 1st to 5th places in the         world, to 1st to 3rd places in each of the six continents         and to 1st to 3rd places in each country/multiplier in each         class.         The judges' decisions will be final and no correspondence         will be entered into. Logs become the property of ANARTS.         We reserve the right to list multiple awards on any certificate         and/or vary the number of awards given,without notice. LOGS: Separate logsheets are required for each band.       Logs must show:       DATE and TIME (UTC), CALLSIGN of station worked/heard.       MESSAGE Sent and Received,       NEW MULTIPLIERS and QSO POINTS.       Summary sheet must show:       Your callsign, name and address of operator, bands used, points       claimed for each band, number of VK stations, total points claimed       and signature. Multi-op station logs must contain the signatures       and callsigns of all operators.       A general certification regarding compliance with rules is also required.       Dupe sheets will be appreciated for any band log over 75 Qsos.
