MARAC County Hunters Contest

SponsorThe Mobile Amateur Radio Awards Club is sponsoring this event. Mobile and fixed operation from every county in the United States is welcome. Mobiles and portables may be worked each time they change counties or bands.

ExchangeRST, US County and state (province/country for others).
Scoring1 point for fixed stations; 15 points for mobiles; US/VE contacts with DX countries are worth 5 points. Final score is computed by the total QSO points times the total number of US counties worked.
FrequenciesSSB: 3880, 7240, 14270, 21340, 28340 kHz. Fixed stations should operate above the suggested frequencies to allow more freedom for mobiles to operate on clear frequencies.

CW: 3575, 7040, 14050, 21050, 28050 kHz

AwardsCertificates will be awarded to winning fixed stations in each state/province/country (with 1000 or more points); mobiles in each state operating in 3 or more counties with a minimum of 10 QSOs per county. MARAC plaques to the highest scoring first- and second-place mobile stations in the US, North American fixed station, and DX station who scores at least 50,000 points.
