Specifications of Cambridge Broadband Networks Limited CBNL-VS2 (VectaStar 2) 10.5GHz transverter:
Original frequency range: Tx=10.15-10.3GHz; Rx=10.5-10.65GHz
TX output power: <1W
TRX board RX gain: ~15dB
TX 1st LO (8GHz): < -35dBc *(due to internal 10GHz BPF)
TX spurious +/- 1MHz (2nd LO fractional PLL): < -65dBc

Original IF board replaced by custom IF:
- 144/432MHz, 16 possible frequency ranges of 3cm band (432MHz not yet implemented, new firmware required)
- OCXO reference
- Low phase noise 125MHz VCXO reference PLL
- Coaxial relay driver
- TX output monitor
- RF VOX
- High efficiency power SMPS
- Low consumption for portable use
- New internal power supply module and TRX board modifications to reduce RX/TX current
