I was first licensed as a SWL (YO4-2555) in 1965 and I got my Call Sign YO4AUL in 1969.
I hold a First Class license and I am a member of YO DX Club, RSGB, REF, WACRAL (1003), YO QRP, YO MARC, etc.
I am QRV on all amateur bands from 1.8 MHz to 1296 MHz. My special interest is in VHF/UHF and 6 meters.
For the achievements in HF I have received the 5BDXCC No.7008 / 5 May 2011 plus additional stickers for 160,30,17,12 and 6 meter bands from ARRL.
For the achievements in VHF I have received the UKW-EU-D-TROPHY Nr.128 from Deutscher Amateur Radio Club.
I have also won 3 times the 1-st Place in the International YO-DX VHF/UHF Contest.
In 1998 I won the First Place in the 50 MHz UKSMG Summer Contest (in the Rest of Europe section) and in 1999 I won the 1-st place in 50 MHz section of the international contest " Field day Ciociaria 1999" (Italy).
On 10-th July 1999 I made the first ever QSO YO-JA in 50 MHz via multiple-hop E-sporadic.
On 2013-09-08 I had my first EME QSO with W7GJ on 50 MHz.
