The annual meeting of the Waynesboro Repeater Association was held on
Thursday December 5, 2013 in the basement meeting of the Augusta County
Library.

The meeting was called to order at by President Frank KE4ASC who served as
moderator.  All present introduced themselves.

        Gordon, WA4FJC read the minutes of the 2012 meeting.  After a motion
by K2ULW, seconded by N4EYZ they were unanimously approved as read.  

        WA4FJC presented the treasurers report.  The beginning balance was
$598.09.  Donations and dues from 19 members received were $1250.00.
Expenses totaled $1089.82.  Income exceeded expenditures by $160.18.  The
ending balance was $758.27.  A motion was made by N4EYZ, seconded by K2ULW
and passed to accept the treasurer's report as presented.  The motion was
approved unanimously.  

WA4FJC presented information regarding the following technical items:

1.        The call W4PNT has been assigned to the Waynesboro Repeater
Association of Virginia.  

2.        The antenna that was damaged last winter has been replaced with a
donated antenna that W4KKL obtained for us.  The broken off dipole element
was passed around at the meeting as well as a photograph of the damaged
antenna.  

3.        The back up battery system is now 8 years old and it is recommended
that it be replaced early next year.  This system consists of 8,  6 volt
batteries costing approximately $72.00 each.  The association is open to
receive donations for this replacement project.  Several present committed
to funding one or more cells.  More donations are needed.  

4.        The donated 440 Mhz control receiver is on hand and some technical
assistance will be required to interface it to the repeater controller.

5.        The site lease will need to be renewed in July 2014.  We currently
pay $44.00 per month for use of this site.  This cost may increase.

6.        The possibility of activation the CTSS tone access was discussed at
some length.  N4EYZ made a motion seconded by K2ULW that we activate CTSS on
the 147.075 Bear Den Repeater.  The motion was approved unanimously.  The
new CTSS tone will be 131.8 Hz.

The moderator called for officer nominations from the floor for the all
officers.  K4DND made a motion that the current officers be reelected and
WG4T seconded.  The current slate of officers were reelected by acclimation.
