The annual meeting of the Waynesboro Repeater Association was held on December 6, 2012 in the basement meeting of the Augusta County Library. The following were present: WA4FJC����������� Gordon����������������� W4GWT �������������� Glenn�������������������� W4LIG Joe WA4TPE���������� Ed�������������������������� KK4DQW������������� Susan�������������������� K4NZ���� David KF4AGT����������� Al��������������������������� KE4ASC��������������� Frank�������������������� N3GLZ� John������ N4EYZ������������� The meeting was called to order at by President Frank KE4ASC who served as moderator.� All present introduced themselves. Gordon, WA4FJC read the minutes of the 2011 meeting.� After a motion by KF4AGT, seconded by N3GLZ they were approved as read.� WA4FJC presented the treasurers report.� The beginning balance was $611.36.� Donations and dues from 18 members received were $1175.00.� Expenses totaled $1356.23.� Expenditures exceeded income by $181.23.� The ending balance was $598.09.� A motion was made by W4GWT, seconded by N4RVG and passed to accept the treasurer�s report as presented.� WA4FJC presented information on a recent trip to the Bear Den repeater site regarding the removal of the old repeater equipment that is now available for sale.� KF4AGT will attempt to advertise this unit for sale in the AARC newsletter and possibly at the Frostfest in February 2013.� WA4FJC brought several donated items of equipment to the meeting and offered them to the membership.� KE4ASC took some of these items and will attempt to sell them.� A donated 440 Mhz
control receiver has been received from a ham in WA4FJC reported that the club call sign, KG4ZYH had been transferred from trustee Robert Kerby, W4BLD (SK) to Gordon Batey, WA4FJC.� He reported that he is still attempting to obtain the W4PNT call sign with the approval of W4PNT�s xyl.� A brief discussion was held regarding the addition of sub-audible tone access to the repeater.� WA4FJC will investigate and see if this could be implemented on an as needed basis thru remote a control function. The moderator called for officer nominations from the floor for the all officers.� K4NZ made a motion that the current officers be reelected and KF4AGT seconded.� The current slate of officers were reelected by acclimation.� The officers for 2013 are: ����������� President��������������� KE4ASC� ������������� Frank Green ����������� Vice Pres.�������������� N3GLZ����������������� John Lasher ����������� Scty/Treas������������ WA4FJC��������������� Gordon Batey The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 pm. ����������������������������������������������� Gordon Batey, WA4FJC |
