Operating Plan

I realize that V31 is not high on anybody's most-wanted list, but I hope to be able to help some of you out with needed band/mode countries to fill in V31 for your DXCC single band or mode or DXCC Challenge Awards on HF.  This is why I will emphasize the WARC bands (mostly on CW) and the digital modes like RTTY and PSK-31.  I also hope to catch some early-season E-skip openings and maybe even some TEP propagation on 6M.  I will have a dedicated radio listening constantly for openings on 6M.  If you work me on 6M, please spot me on the cluster so others can try to catch me in an opening.  I will also be happy to schedule meteor scatter QSO's on 6M using WSJT.  Please e-mail me at: [email protected] to set up a schedule prior to my departure.

I will also attempt to get on 160M.  There is no dedicated 160 antenna at the station, but I will be bringing lots of wire in the hopes of stringing up a temporary inverted L.

Here is a chart showing my preferred frequencies.  All or subject to change +/- due to QRM.  I will work split if demand dictates:
