Speaker

Both the TDA2002 and the audio amplifier from the "High Performance Receiver for 160 Meters" can use a fairly large speaker. Use a 4" or larger speaker with at least a 4 watt rating.

My favorite speaker is a 6" with an 8 watt rating. I have found the bigger the speaker the better.

The TDA2002 likes 4 ohm impedance better than 8 ohm, both will work. The 160 meter receiver audio circuit likes 8 ohm impedance speakers. A good speaker box makes a huge difference in how the speaker performs.
