MMSSTV HELP TEXT

Now that you have downloaded all files needed to set-up the mmsstv program ,
you need to set the program to work for your sound card.
1) set the frequency on your radio to 10.000 khz,
2) now go to MMSSTV and click on the OPTION tab  and SETUP tab.
3) press the MISC tab
4) press the ADJ tab in lower left side
5) You should now see the monitor scree of the WWV , let it Run for a few minutes
6) you should see a sequence of dots in a row, left click mouse button the top of the line
   and drag it right with the line to the bottom of it
7) Press OK , if the line comes up perfectly straight in vertical position then press OK
   If not then do this over several times to get it right.

You will soon learn that all sound boards are not the same , thats why you have to set the 
board to match your program. This does not make the sound board have trouble with other uses

Now that your ready to receive the pictures be sure to press OK before closing this screen.

Now you should see MISC screen press OK again and BINGO it is receiving correct now.
There is other ways to set this stuff by asking someone to help you. Everybody has to set it.

There are several frequencies that you can use MMSSTV on below is A list.
20 meters 14.230 USB for analog (MMSSTV)
20 meters 14.233 USB for digital (HAMPAL)
40 meters 7.73 LSB for Digital (HAMPAL)
80 meters 3.813 LSB for both (DIGITAL & ANALOG) depends on band conditions
10 metrs 28.680 USB for Both

If you are told that you have a slant ask some of the old Slow scanners to help you with the 
OFFSET adjustment they should be able to see by using the SYNC tab what numbers you need to
use (ADD OR SUBTRACT) from your OFFSET.

If you prefer to do it yourself , Then go to options tab then click on setupsstv then click 
on tx tab and in the middle of the screen
click on Internal Under the Loop Back. Then click on ok and go back to your rec screen 
when you click on tx and start your transmit.while it is running click on your recieve tab 
and you will see what your transmitting , slant and all now click on the sync tab and if the
 numbers has a + in front then subtract that figure from what ever you have in the txoffset found under the Misc tab and down the screen in left bottom corner.
If it has a - in front then add that figure to the txoffset box.
