*** VHF Test Update #024: September 29, 1999 ***

Here's a brief update so you don't think I've forgotten 
about you, and to allow me to test the e-mail addresses of 
a few new subscribers.

The Fall Sprints are here and I did not get any requests for 
the beta version of 3.02.  This update's only significant 
change is the addition of the Fall Sprints.  I will continue to 
test in preparation for January.

I have been forwarded information by Ed, K3DNE, about 
a switch by the ARRL to a new standard file format.  I 
have printed out the specifications and probably will, in 
version 3.02, replace the SFF output with Cabrillo.  (There 
MUST be some kind of story behind that...)

I am continuing to work on the new version of the Web 
site.  A ham-only version (minus one or two features I'm 
not sure will work) of the current one can be found at 
www.qsl.net/wg3e, where I plan to keep it for as long as 
needed.  I've learned an awful lot working on the new 
one!
