My New Hood Scoop

This is the new scoop I have been waiting for. This gives me enough room for a 4 inch K&N filter with there top filter so I can get enough air to feed the beast at 6,000 + RPMs. I had to cut a hole and fit the scoop to the hood. I will get the hood painted this Fall.

I am not sure if I will leave the carb enclosure as it is, allowing air to enter from the scoop and the cowl opening, or close the back of the enclosure off, and use the cowl opening for heat extraction.

Update: I added the Vortech YSi to it, and the scoop cleared by a 1/2 Inch.
