During the 2009 Gathering at Pigeon Forge, we meet many of the guys that we served with. One of the guys was Jack Horvath, the Commander of the 64th Trans Company. Jack is a unique guy, and if you have not read about his 2 tours in Nam, you should. Link to Jacks Story
During a discussion with Jack about his 1st tour, it was learned he was also in Phu Tai. I did not remember the 64th in Phu Tai, so asked him where they were located? He said on a small compound, on the road near the Catholic Church. He said other than the 64th, there was only a Signal Company there. Well, after all these years, we found out what unit was in the compound before we arrived in the late Spring of 67. :)
