Camp Hartell was named after 1st Lieutenant Lee Ross Hartell of A Battery, 15th Field Artillery Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division and reassigned to B Company. Hartell was home to HHB, 1st, 79th Artillery, 7th Infantry Division 1967-1968. Camp Hartell has now closed.
