Hindu Rope Plant comments After blooming
By Joe Lyddon

The very next day after shooting the buds, the plant started to Bloom. . .     95% of the buds opened leaving about 5 buds unopened.     I waited 3 more days for it to fully bloom and there were only 2 buds left.     Uncle Frank, of Silicon Investor, suggested that I take the pictures now while the existing blooms were fresh. . . so I did.

I did several things differently this time. . .

1.    I made sure that I could use a tripod.
2.    I had my computer on ready to read my CompactFlash card from the camera.
3.    I emptied the kitchen sink of everything where I could use a tripod.
4.    Before the light, the sun, got around to where I wanted it, I experimented with a few pictures for 'focus', etc..
5.    The day ended up to be very cloudy where I had to wait for sunlight to get pictures; a real pain.
6.    I made sure the resolution was as high as the camera could take;   1152 x 864.

I took several shots. . . these are, what I thought were, the best.
I even showed how the main setup looked. . .     using paper plates to reflect light, etc.

In between shady cycles, I took ONE shot of a Camelia and another Yellow flower that were in bloom.
I've included them too for your comments.

Thank you for your critique and comments.

Thank you,
