Hi! In order to use the results in Specctraquest basically you have to
convert to DML format. Look up in cadence\share\pcb\signal\cds_packages.dml
there is an example for banded/ sparse matrix format. Just plop in the RLGC
values in this matrix and you can use it in Specctrquest.

Subject: [SI-LIST] : Converting Standard matrix to Banded / Sparse

Hello,
I have the RLGC results of a field solution for a cable (Solver used ANSOFT
2D)
and I'd like to use these results in Specctraquest (Cadence). The results
are in
a standard matrix format but to set up a cable model in specctraquest seems
to
require a banded / sparse matrix format.
Question: How do I translate the standard matrix format into either of these

formats for use in Spectraquest, is there an algorithm to do this?.

Thanks in advance,
