thanks for the response...
yes, normally we see effect of gnd bounce on output of an output buffer
itself since input buffer at that time wont be switching

**yet this case dosnt hold in case of programmable IOs (input/outputs)
(that i should have mentioned)where,suppose,3 of the 4 IOs sharing common
gnd work in output mode but the 4th one in input mode.then for eg a bad
high to input buffer may not be taken high as long as gnd is bounced.
isnt it so ??

** i was going thru specs that was given for packages the mutual
inductance(Lm).
-but what i didnt get is whether this Lm refers to the adjacent pins only
or the effective Lm with all pins being considered,
-then what would coupling coeff indicate k=(L1*L2)^0.5 with respect to
L1?is it the averaged k or ....??what is L2 here??

**what about mutual capacitance mentioned in specs??
