Regarding the message fragment below, you must be referring to
the C_comp capacitor being connected to node 0 and not to the
appropriate IV curve reference node(s). That has also been
fixed, I believe in H2000.2. You can now split C_comp into
four parts, and each of those are connected to the corresponding
voltage reference nodes.

HSPICE's implementation has a few other quirks, like internal connections to
node 0 which can be a problem sometimes, for which a functionally-equivalent
SPICE subcircuit could come in handy.
