[SI-LIST] : Decoupling at PCB connectors

Hello All,

I am trying to determine a reasonable number and size of decoupling cap to
use at connector locations. The connectors that I am interested in are
between two boards, not signal connecters. On our last project we used 48
caps on each power plane to decouple 4 connectors. Board layout does not
like to place that many caps around the connectors. Are we using too many
caps? Does anyone have any guidelines, or a way to simulate this problem?
