.Can I ask you a favour? It would be something you really don't want to do

OK, here you go:

From Pozar's "Microwave Engineering" page 27 I paraphrase:

skin depth = sqrt(2/(omega * mu * sigma))

           = sqrt(1/(pi * freq * mu0 * sigma))

           = sqrt(1/(pi * freq * 4pi * 10^-7)) * sqrt(1/sigma)

           so for freq = 10 GHz , sqrt(1/(pi * 10^10 * 4pi * 10^-7)) = 5.03 x 10^-3

           therefore at 10 GHz skin effect = (5.03 x 10^-3) * sqrt(1/sigma)

           for copper sigma = 5.813 x 10^7 skin depth @ 10 GHz = 6.60 x 10^-7 m
               aluminum sigma = 3.816 x 10^7 skin depth @ 10 GHz = 8.14 x 10^-7 m
               silver sigma = 6.173 x 10^7 skin depth @ 10 GHz = 6.40 x 10^-7 m
