Hi all,

I have a USB question that I hope that you guys can help me out with.

Owing to board constraints, we cannot have our USB "B" recepticle
connected directly on the PCA board itself. Instead, we have the USB
connector mounted on to a seperate PCB board. However, my USB I/O
controller is still mounted to the main PCB board.

My question is what is the best way to inter connect up these 2 boards
(distance is about 7cm) so that there will not have any SI issues on the
USB signals. Will any wires do the the job or must I follow the
specifications given in the USB specs for 12Mbits/s transfer (Shielded
with twisted D+ and D- AWG28 and
Power AWG 28-20)? Can I use a flex cable?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards
Erwin
