You're right, Martyn. There is no shortage of these things to attend. Spend
all you've got. Here's another. But I think it's important to attend a
couple, the right ones. Got to maintain a visibility I think. Problem is
Which? You can spend a bundle just visiting to take a look. I'll have a look
at teh suggestions www.sites where possible. Ken

Subject: [SI-LIST] : Signal Integrity Conferences
Which conference is best for hearing about the latest developments
in signal integrity?
Which conference has the widest audience of engineers and vendors
interested in signal integrity?

I personally like DesignCon (held annually in January at Santa Clara) as
real engineers attend and discuss real issues with the presenters as well as
each other. The papers are more substantial than a lot of the marketing
focused conferences. For example for the past two years there has been
considerable discussion in the "High Performance" track of the conference
regarding differential impedance, broadside coupling vs edge coupling,TDR
techniques, etc.. Many of the people on this SI reflector have attended
and/or presented DesignCon sessions.
