Like a TV channel with all commercials, who would go to such a
thing? There needs to be a haven for questions and technology and, for
now, this is that place. If you open the advertising floodgate a
little,
some people are always going to go beyond it. The vendors who have done
that in the last week are a good example that. This is a forum where
questions are tossed in, ideas are mulled, and the knowledge of the
industry is advanced. Most of the regulars on this list know who all
of
the companies are now and don't need advertisements. New people can ask
and get pointed to web sites. The focus of the list stays on the
issues.
