[SI-LIST] : conductor thickness versus current

Dear list
I'm looking at a graph on page page 40 of Gerald L. Gonsbergs book "Printed
Circuit Design".

It shows three grahps relating track width/cross section to current
carrying capability.

My question is which graph relates to internal PCB tracks and which to
external? So which conductor can carries a higher current; A 20 sq. mils
internal track or a 20sq. mils external track.

thanks in adance for you help
Tim
