THE COMPANY

Ridge Technologies was designed from the start to fill a real need
in the PC storage marketplace-- the opportunity presented by three
converging trends--the movement from monolithic mainframes to
local NT servers, the increasing importance of the Internet and
organizational intranets, and the emergence of new bandwidth-hungry=20
data types. These trends create a huge need for storage devices with
new characteristics and capacities.

Made up of a group of Sun and Apple veterans, the Ridge team was drawn
together by the=A0 knowledge that with our combined expertise we could create a
company unique in its composition, business practices, and product offerings.
We plan to deliver high-end features and=A0 functionality to the midrange NT server
market, focusing on highly available, easy-to-administer, cost effective storage
solutions, with emphasis on RAID (Redundant Arrays of Independent Disks) and
Fibre Channel technologies.

THE JOB
You will use your experience in h/w design in the RAID/mass storage/server
industry to lead a team of designers on the EMI/EMC/Signal Integrity/trans-
mission line aspects of our design.=A0 You will we working with a class of truly
world-class professionals dedicated to leading this new technology to a position
of market dominance.
