D. C. Sessions' method is how I do it. It lets you see how ideal the
capacitor is (plot real/imaginary components, or mag/phase), how it
behaves versus frequency, etc.

Note that the AC magnitude can be anything you want it to be ... I
suggest a round number like 1V to simplify calculations ... because .AC
analysis in SPICE is done with a linearized circuit representation.
SPICE finds the small-signal equivalent circuit at the bias point and
uses that for .AC analysis. Amplitudes don't affect it.
