[SI-LIST] : Net topology, reflection cancellation ?

Do somebody know about the arrangement of a net topology to have an
effect of reflection cancellation, something like noise cancellation?
For examples, using star topology, changing the length of net, ...
etc.

I think that changing length of a net may cause the waveform on a
receiver to change and then pass the threshold criterion without
adding damping resistor on the end of a driver.

Am I right ?

Do any books have this kind of topics?
