AMP has an opening for an Applications Engineer to work with AMP
customers using advanced simulation techniques to help them solve signal
integrity problems that arise during the design of high-speed
interconnection systems.

Education: BSEE (MSEE a plus)
Experience: Two years designing high-speed digital systems involving
printed circuit boards, backplanes, connectors and cables.
Signal integrity experience and familiarity with SPICE and
field solver engines a plus.
Capabilities: Must be able to interface well with customer engineers,
understand their design issues and communicate and demonstrate
simulation methodologies and tools that will help address signal
integrity issues during early design stages.
Bottom line: A significant opportunity for an ambitious
technically- competent engineer who can work with other engineers to
improve their interconnection designs, interface well with senior
engineering management and be comfortable in sales situations. Not
looking for a salesperson. The success of the
endeavor will create considerable success for the individual.

AMP is an equal-opportunity employer.
