MCC is seeking an experienced high-speed CMOS circuit design consultant, for
a six-month part-time project investigating advanced communication
drive/receive circuits. The candidate must have experience in both analog
and digital CMOS design methodologies, as evidenced by having been a
principal contributor to multiple successful circuit realizations.
=46amiliarity with cost considerations, both current and emergent standards,
and the latest IC/CAD design tools is mandatory. The latter include tools f=
or:

* physical layout
* parameter extraction
* schematic capture
* SPICE simulation including lossy transmission lines
* verification

Knowledge of encoding/modulation theory and techiques is a very definite plu=
s.

The candidate must have at least five years of practical experience in
industry. An MSEE or equivalent educational background is mandatory; a PhD
with similar industry experience is preferred.
