OPEN POSITION: STAFF SYSTEMS ENGINEER, EMC and ANALOG/MIXED SIGNAL ANALYSIS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sequent Computer Systems (Beaverton, OR), is designing and developing a
new generation of high performance systems using state-of-the-art
CC-NUMA architecture. These symmetric multiprocessing systems will
deliver industry-leading scalability, based on very high speed busses
and interconnects, distributed shared memory, and multiple-system
clustering.
We are looking for an experienced hardware engineer with skills in the
following areas:
*Analog/mixed signal analysis (SI)
*EMC analysis, modelling, and design
*Power distribution and noise control
The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated, teamwork-oriented individual
who could provide leadership in:
-Development of tools (Seth, Ansoft, etc?), techniques, approaches, and
specific designs to ensure compliance of products with EMC regulations
and functional requirements;
-Implementation of advanced distributed power architectures at high power
levels and frequencies with extremely low noise and high stability;
-Board design rules and practices, and specific design directions, which
maximize signal integrity at very high speeds and slew rates.
Sequent is a growing, high profile company which recruits nationally and
compensates aggressively, and is located in the booming Portland area
high technology corridor.
