Anybody care to offer a brief description of what
it is, what it's good for, how fast it goes, who
makes it? Is it similar to SSTL?
I've been looking at some of these new bus
transceiver families, and it seems like a lot of
them (like HSTL and PECL) are only available on
gate arrays, i.e. people like TI and National
don't make them. Is that what you've found?
By PECL I mean pseudo-ECL, made from MOSFETS,
as opposed to positive-ECL, made from bipolar
transistors.
