l have a question concerning the use of the various I/O technologies
(specifically HSTL and GTL+) in systems requiring live insertion of boards.

Can a HSTL class four receiver on an un-powered board be plugged into a bus
which is sitting idle at 1.5V?

(Assume a point to point bi-directional 50 ohm bus with a 50 ohm pull-up
resistor tied to 1.5V at both ends)
