I have previously asked if this is routinely considered. The response
was basically "No it isn't".

For those of you who supply products to the European Union countries, I
suggest that you invest some time in the subject. EN standards will be
considering this aspect of EMC. I have picked this up in an EMC news
letter.

Perhaps I may eventually be able to place a desk top computer near
equipment with magnetic fields without blowing holes in chips!
