Try this:
To capture the entire screen to the clipboard as a bitmap press CTRL
then "Print Screen".
To capture a window to the clipboard, click on the window to make it
active (bring to the foreground) press ALT then "Print Screen"
You can then use "Paste" in your application (i.e. MS Word, etc) to
insert the image.
