Has anyone some experience with the Geometry-Transfer from I-DEAS to EMAS.
We have tried the IGES-translator and also a STEP-Interface.
Both methods didn't work well.
The IGES translator only works well with 2D data. The import of 3D-Geometry
into EMAS didn't work.
A failure occur or the imported geometry can't be split into regions with
EMAS.
The same problems with imported 3D geomerty occurs with a STEP-Interface
(AP203 and AP214).
Has anybody solved these geometry transfer problem or can give some helpful
suggestions to solve it.
