There are plenty of tricks than can be used. The difficulty arises when
you work with large, sophisticated customers, who often do their own
independent testing. They know that vendors often lie when nasty technical
issues get in the way of shipping dates and cash flow numbers.

Seriously, you really do have to know your customer base. It's a drag to
have to compete with $100M/yr garage shops on price when you have to deal
with the Fuji-Xerox and German Federal Broadcast Authorities of the world
on quality.

Class B as the device will be used --- often means exactly that (or you
have a really expensive scramble to get there).
