Sreejith-

I have two app notes and two sets of slides on our web site
(www.gigatest.com) related to your design concerns for 2.5 GHz
signals in FR4. These app notes review the lossy effects in FR4,
how to estimate the contribution from the conductor and
dielectric loss and include measurements from a few boards. They
are # 74, 71, 68 and 67. You are welcome to download them.

HI All,

i am doing a 2.5Ghz PCB design. i was wondering whether FR4
material
is sufficient for such high speed signals? or i should look at
some
other material for these desings? and if FR4 is sufficient is
there any
special care i have to take (other than impedance matching and
differential
routings)

thanks in advance,
Sreejith
