After
returning to California, we found many visitors to our back yard including
a young mother cat we call "Baby" and, after July 4th of 2002, her three
male kittens. One kitten was crying in front of our neighbor's house and turned out to be under the hood of an old Dodge car. We rescued him (as he had planned) and he became part of our family. He's the Grey one in the picture. The other two kittens visited our yard after our own cats had been put in the garage for the night and we captured both them and their mother in order to get them "fixed". The idea was to give the kittens away and Baby was already very independant, sleeping in our yard at night but otherwise part of the 'hood'. Well... as you can see, we have once again been 'adopted' |
