My grandfather took this picture in the Phillipines during the Spanish Ameican War.  It shows a girl (woman) in the river and a man (husband?) on a horse drawn cart in the background.   (Colorized using Photo-Deluxe)  When I have time I will post some of his journal commentary about the three years he served there.  Vietnam era veterans will find some of his commentary on how his superiors prosecuted the war very interesting and oddly familiar.
