The Seven Basic Life
Principles
1. Design (Self-Acceptance)
Understanding how my unchangeable features can motivate the development of character and therefor thanking God for them.
2. Authority (Wise Obedience)
Honoring the responsibilities of parents and other authorities and learning how God works through them to provide direction and protection.
3. Responsibility (Clear Conscience)
Becoming accountable for every thought, word, action and motive and asking forgiveness of those whom I offend.
4. Suffering (Full Forgiveness)
Using the hurts from offenders to reveal "blind spots" in my own life and then seeing how Ican benefit their lives.
5. Ownership (Yielding Rights)
Realizing that everything I have has been entrusted to me by God and wisely using them for His purposes.
6. Freedom (Moral Purity)
Excercising my conscience to discern between good and evil and overcoming the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.
7. Success (Meditation)
Discovering God's purpose for my life by engrafting Scripture in my heart and mind and using it to "think God's thoughts" and make wise decisions.
