Introduction
Visual Basic for Applications is not the focus of this site,
however several programmers have shared some very interesting
applications using VBA. Those of you who have Microsoft Excel and
are iterested in programming can use a subset of the Visual Basic
programming language, VBA to write programs too.
Applications
Here are some links to
applications here. For support, contact the contributer directly
(I don't have VBA or Excel on my PC). Note to programmers - If
you give me permission, I will list your e-mail address. Other
wise I'll list only your call sign. Interested readers can find
you through your 'call book' address.
N3CVX Bearing/Distance N3CVX suggests using
Microsoft's Visual Basic features in the MS Office programs if
you don't have a copy of Visual Basic. "Many have Excel or
MS Word experience and might be encouraged to try your code. I
have included an example using your Great Circle article and
code. Using the Forms drawing tool, one can create a button then
assign a macro which will invoke your code. If the macro is named
auto_open, Excel will automatically execute it when the
spreadsheet is opened."

KF4DRB Toroids Eric "wrote this toroid calculator last summer with VBA. ...The code was password protected (almost forgot the password), but feel free to undo it. Since I did it based on a set of iron powdertoroids I purchased from Palomar Engineers I set the password to "palomar".I hope it can be a useful tool for someone or at least as an example. I saved it in an earlier version also, the versions should have either 2000 or 97 denoting which version in the file name. My apologies for the file size (60kb)"
