A Typical JT44/EME Exchange Using Standard EME Format
Don't Forget on 144mhz
the Eastern most station starts first but on 432mhz the
Western most station
starts first. This is standard EME sequencing for these bands.
Both
Stations Start By sending Both
Calls
you send = BC
you recv BC = you send BC + OOO
you recv RORO = you send RRR
other station recv RRR = Send to you 73 (sending of 73 is optional)
At this point both stations should have received BC+0+R
OR IF INSTEAD YOU RECEIVE BC + OOO INITUALLY INSTEAD OF JUST BC SEE
BELOW
you were
sending =
BC
you recv BC + OOO = you send
RORORO
you recv RRR
= you send 73 (sending
of 73 is optional)
At this point both stations should have received BC+0+R
Contact is considered vaild when both stations have
received "Both Calls + 0 + R"
The sending of 73 is a good idea to let the
other station know the sked is now complete.
NOTE It is possible the first thing you could get back is either
just "Both Calls" or "Both Calls + OOO".
That is why you see the difference
shown above.
