Pete Dulac  -  President

Bill Clark  -  Treasurer

and Pete appointed Bill Wood, K4WAS as public realations officer again for '2002'
Congrats to all the officers who won in the election!

Pete noted to the club,  that the 147.285 repeater has a problem.  It seems to have the same problem as last time,  with the Power Amp cutting back its power.  It will be going back to the Motorola Doctor, Frank, N4PAO ASAP.

Mark noted to the club that the 444.200 repeater on the Dames Point Bridge in Jacksonville is off the air.  Frank, N4PAO has the repeater and is making the necessary modifications for hook up of the SCOM 7K controller.  Hopefully it will be done soon and back on the air.

The new antenna for the 6 meter repeater has arrived.  Doug purchased a DB products 2 Bay Dipole antenna.  Big Bucks.  Hopefully we'll get the antenna replaced soon!  It needs it!

The Orlando hamfest is coming up!  It is Friday, Saturday and Sunday,  February 8, 9 & 10th

The next CCARS testing session will be held Saturday, January 19th, at 9:00am at Kingsland Fire Station #4 on Gross road.  Any questions contact Mark,  WW9Z

The new CCARS website is up and running thanks to the new webmaster Rusty, WB4BSD.  The address is  http://www.qsl.net/wb4bsd   Check it out !

Chuck,  KG4FKU, ordered all the stuff for the IRLP (Internet Radio Linking Project) for 444.625+ repeater.  We are waiting on the equipment to arrive.  If you wanna check out the site it is http://www.irlp.net   Its pretty neat!

Woody, K4WAS and Paul, KG4KIB acquired a bus for the club.  It will be used as a mobile command post,  housing radios from HF on up.  The club has to vote on this vehicle,  and purchase it back from Paul and Woody.  It needs some interior work,  but the engine runs great, and the outside is in good shape also.  If you want to see it,  contact Paul,  KG4KIB,  either by landline or email and make arrangements to see it.  It is being kept at his place.  Pictures are available on the club website.

We still have club shirts available for purchase.  They are $15.50 each.  We have S,M,L,XL & 2X
Let Bill Clark know if you would like one.

The next club meeting will be Sunday, February 3rd, at Kingsland Fire Station # 4 on Gross Road.

Well thats it for now!   Anyone have any questions feel free to contact me.
