Path through the middle of the monument

As I turned onto the path through the middle of the monument, Jerry yelled I'm hit, as he fell behind me. He had been severely wounded. The bullet entering his right shoulder near his collar bone, had traveled through his right lung, and later had to be removed by a Doctor from his lower back. I didn't see Jerry again after that but I'm in contact with him now through the Tan Son Nhut Association.
