A game of ball during some slack time just outside the rear entrance to the Engine Shop. Some times a game of ball would help relieve the tension of being a target for VC mortar and rocket attacks.
After a VC mortar attack one evening I stepped out of the S.O.A.P. Lab into the Engine Shop and found shrapnel lying all over the floor. The shrapnel came from a near miss that had landed between the engine shop and the revetments behind it.
