I built my TT2 in June of 2000 and I've been having fun with it ever since I finished it.  I originally built my TT2 stock, but soon tired of using a mechanical switch for tranmit and receive. I decide to install a TIC 3(smt version) into my TT2 and eliminate the T/R switch. My original TT2 drew about 49ma and my modified version draws about 68ma. I use two transistor batteries in parallel for a power source which gives me about 150mw of output. The batteries should last a while under this load.
Below is a schematic of a contest ready TT2! Go on, have fun with this modification and your contest ready TT2!
